TYO Junior MTB Race Series:

  • September 16 – JBOMB #1 – Junior racers only, at Wakefield Park, Annandale, VA, 3-5pm
  • September 23 – JBOMB #2 – Junior racers only, at Wakefield Park, Annandale, VA, 3-5pm
  • September 30 – JBOMB #3 – Junior racers only, at Wakefield Park, Annandale, VA, 3-5pm
  • Sunday, Oct. 7, raindate for any races missed due to inclement weather.

Are you interested in junior mountain bike races in the DC area?

TrailsforYouth.Org works with several race promoters as well as organizing races, to creat a race mountain bike series for any youth that wishes to test their competitive spirit.

Racers are many ages and there are boys and girls categories in each age group, it’s best if the bike is at least a 20″ wheel. Both individuals and teams enjoy the competitive spirit and atmoshpere of these races. As the series grows in popularity, so too will the number of the racers out on the trails.  If you are interested in joining the TrailsforYouth.Org team, contact Patrick Childers at race@tfkmetrodc.org.

Race scholarships and equipment use is available from Trails for Youth.Org, contact us at race@tfkmetrodc.org.

We recommend that all youth riders pre-ride Wakefield park prior to the races.
